A quiet village in the north of the Costa Brava. It is characterised for being a village of family tourism and offers its visitors different walks and bike rides through its mountains. It has several options of cultural interest such as the centenary tree, the art parc, the parish church, the Molinás Castle, among others. It also offers many walking routes.
On the weekend of St. John's Day (24th June), the mel novella (new honey) fair is held with just over thirty stalls along Carrer dels Horts and Plaça Pi i Margall.
The Festa Major takes place at the end of September on the occasion of the celebration of the town's patron saint, Saint Michael (29th September).
Also, the beaches that bathe this magnificent village are an attraction, such as the beach of Garbet, the beach of Borró de dins, the beach of Les Portes.
